Genealogical Lookups!

Free lookups!  Just e-mail what you’re wanting.  (The more specific you are, the better the chance you’ll like what you get.)

Is it really free?  Yes!  (I will ask for the cost of postage and copying (if any), rounded up to the next U.S. dollar.  And—if you think it's worth it—any extra won’t be turned down.)

What's available?

The free lookups are limited to Allen County Public Library (ACPL) in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  This is the second largest genealogical collection in the U.S.A.  All federal censuses, most state censuses, tons (literally) of genealogies, periodicals, PERSI, maps, passenger lists, and on and on.  Covers far more than Indiana.  Get a better overview from their website, or check out their online catalog.

I also do research outside of ACPL.  Costs for non-ACPL research: $10.00 per hour, plus expenses (copying, postage, parking, and if outside of Allen County, fifty cents per mile).
